Operations
Help ensure events, meetings, and conferences come together seamlessly. Find the gaps, fix inefficiencies, and optimize opportunities.
Marketing & Design
Design bold new graphics, social posts, and visual language. Create beautiful marketing, extending ideas worth spreading.
Engagement
Strengthen community bonds both inside and outside of the club by fostering interaction with social experiences, volunteering events, and tabling initiatives.
Finance
Create a budget, manage club expenses, develop and present funding pitches, and build partnerships with local businesses.

Applications closed on September 7 at 11:59 PM.
Around the first day of school, our social media, website, and emailing list will advertise the link to our new member application. You can expect a mix of both serious, skill-focused prompts (e.g. what have you done in the past, why would you be good, résumé/portfolio) and light-hearted, TED-ish questions (e.g. what's one of your favourite TED talks/why, make a playlist and share it with us). We believe our application reflects our culture: one of passion, achievement, determination, creativity, whim, and open-mindedness.
Take the application process seriously, while still being vulnerable and authentic. We look for driven people, but also don't fret too much. This is TEDx... the community here is incredibly welcoming!
Should we choose to move forward with your application, you'll be interviewed in mid-to-late September by the Directors of the teams in which you expressed interest. Following the interviews, our Directors will deliberate and let you know our decision in early October.
Yes! We’d love for you to drop by and say hi. You may also see us at pop-up tabling events around campus throughout the year… so keep a look out for red TEDx letters.
